Liberal Arts Reading Group--March 22, 2019

On a number of occasions, our little Liberal Arts Reading Group has discussed the topic of ethics. The question has arisen: can ethics be taught at the college level as a branch of theology? Hoping to spend more time on this topic, I thought we might read the introduction to a recent book by philosophy professor Michael Huemer titled Ethical Intuitionism. Michael Huemer is a professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Here you can find .pdf files containing the preface and the first chapter of his book. Perhaps we can decide, based on the introduction, whether we'd like to pursue this in the future.
